The “grand dame” of the La Quinta scene is the La Quinta country Club, which was established in 1959. An eclectic variety of homes and condos contribute to the wide-ranging charm of this location. Although many of the homes feature Spanish and Early-California styling, this is also one of the few spots in La Quinta where authentic Mid-Century Modern homes can be found. Long a host to the Humana Challenge, the Larry Hughes/Robert Muir Graves course was redesigned in 1999.
